Master John C. Paul  (4th Degree Black Belt)

Master Paul has had the honor of training with some of the best
Martial Arts instructors in the world. He has trained with
Professor Wally Jay 10th Degree Black Belt and founder of
Small Circle Jujitsu, and the late Professor Remy Presas
10th Degree Black Belt in Modern Arnis.

Currently Mr. Paul holds a Masters rank of 4th Degree Black Belt
in Ryukyu Kempo, and continues his martial arts training under
Grand Master George A. Dillman 10th Degree Black Belt in
Ryukyu Kempo from Reading PA., and Grand Master
James T. Duggan 7th Degree Black Belt in Ryukyu Kempo from
Minooka IL

Mr. Paul started his karate training in 1981 at the age of 18 in Korean Taekwondo. Although he was out of training for quite
awhile. Mr. Paul never lost his love for the arts. And in 1996 Mr. Paul resumed his martial arts training after watching his
oldest son Eric(who was 6 years old) taking classes at Burch’s School of Karate in Minooka IL.
In 1998 Mr. Paul joined the instructor training program and unknown to him at the time began his teaching career in karate.
After teaching classes at Burch’s School of Karate for 1 ½ years, Mr. Burch suggested to Mr. Paul that he open his own
school.  After much consideration Mr. Paul decided to start teaching classes in the basement of his house and in the early
winter of 1999. In December of 1999 Mr. Burch approached Mr. Paul to see if he’d be interested in buying the school where
he and his son Eric had been training the previous 3 ½ years. So in December of 1999 Mr. Paul & Mrs. Paul took over
ownership of Burch’s School of Karate in Minooka IL. At the time the school had 147 students and had been in business
since 1986.
In March of 2005 Mr. Paul was promoted to a Masters rank of 4th Degree Black Belt in Ryukyu Kempo by
10th degree Black Belt Grandmaster George A. Dillman.

Mrs. Valerie Paul (3rd Degree Black Belt)
Mrs. Paul is currently a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Ryukyu Kempo and continues her training martial arts training
under Grand Master George A. Dillman 10th Degree Black Belt from Reading PA., and Grand Master James T. Duggan
7th Degree Black Belt from Minooka IL., and Okinawan weapons training with Shihan Mikio Nishiuchi 8th Degree
Black Belt in Fairfield CA.

Mrs. Paul began her Martial Arts training in 1999 after she and her Husband purchased Burch’s School of Karate in Minooka IL. 
Mrs. Paul is currently pursuing her first degree black belt in Okinawan Kubdo Weaponry under Shihan Mikio Nishiuchi.
In 2007 Mrs. Paul was promoted to 2nd Degree Black Belt in Ryukyu Kempo by 10th degree Black Belt
Grandmaster George A. Dillman.

Mr. Eric Paul (3rd Degree Black Belt)
Mr. Paul is currently a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Ryukyu Kempo, and continues his study of martial arts training alongside his parents.
Eric began martial arts at the age of 6 studying with Master Bill Burch, and by the age of 11 Eric had earned his 1st Degree Black Belt.
Eric now competes at national level with sword competing in the Extreme category he has competed in tournaments such as the
Blue Grass Open in Kentucky, as well as the US Open held at Disney in Orlando FL. and broadcast on ESPN.
In Feb. 2005 Mr. Eric Paul was promoted to 3rd Degree Black Belt in Ryukyu Kempo by 7th degree Black Belt
Grandmaster James T. Duggan.

Mr. Eyan Paul (2nd  Degree Black Belt)
Mr. Eyan Paul is currently a 2nd  Degree Black Belt in Ryukyu Kempo, and continues his martial arts training alongside his parents.
Eyan began martial arts at the age of 6 studying with his father, by the age of 11 Eyan had earned his 1st Degree Black Belt in
Ruykyu Kempo.
Eyan now competes at national level with nunchaku competing in the Extreme, and creative categories. He has competed in
tournaments such as the Day of Champions Regional in Chicago, and Blue Grass Open in Kentucky, and the US Open in Orlando Florida. 
In 2007 Mr. Eyan Paul was promoted to 2nd Degree Black Belt in Ryukyu Kempo by 7th degree Black Belt
Grandmaster James T. Duggan.

Mr. Eyan Paul is currently a Lead Instructor at Indiana Martial Arts Mooresville IN. Location.
